Fully Qualified Lawyer (m/f/d) – E-Commerce

Advise the Executive Board and business units on all legal matters relating to the company's day-to-day operations.

Independently draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including IT, SaaS, platform, and software licensing agreements, as well as procurement, sales, and strategic partnership contracts.

Assess the legal implications of new business models, products, and digital processes, and provide legal support throughout product launches and implementation projects.

Proactively support the organization in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while further developing and strengthening the company's compliance framework.

Take overall responsibility for data protection (GDPR), including serving as the Data Protection Officer (DPO), and manage data protection and IT law matters in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors.

Represent the company's interests in legal disputes before courts and regulatory authorities where legally permissible, or alternatively coordinate and manage external legal counsel.

Manage the ALZURA Group's trademark portfolio, including new trademark filings, renewals, and ongoing portfolio maintenance.

Monitor legal and regulatory developments and translate them into clear, pragmatic, and business-oriented recommendations for the organization.

Fully qualified lawyer with two successfully completed German State Examinations (Erstes and Zweites Staatsexamen) and several years of professional experience as an in-house legal counsel or with a commercial law firm.

Strong interest in digital business models and emerging technologies, combined with a solid commercial mindset and business acumen.

In-depth expertise in e-commerce and IT law, competition and antitrust law, commercial contracts, employment law, data protection law (GDPR), as well as commercial and corporate law.

Proven experience in compliance, ideally supported by relevant specialist training or certifications in compliance-related fields.

Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, as well as confidently interacting with regulatory authorities and courts.

Structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented working style, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong organizational skills and a high level of reliability in managing deadlines and ensuring timely completion of legal matters.

Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional project teams.

Native-level or fluent German language skills, combined with professional working proficiency in English.
